Application: Based on the detection of Sars-CoV-2 proteins, these tests are carried out just like PCR tests using a smear in the nasopharynx. The rapid test checks for protein fragments of the virus and thus for their direct, physical presence in the body. The smear is enriched in a buffer solution and pipetted onto the test cassette. A qualitative result is available in 15 minutes.
